Elements of period interiors have been reinterpreted in a contemporary manner using sustainable design principles of working with recycled and reclaimed materials to create a space that is clean, refined and warm. The steel doors where relocated from the living room to the bedroom and repainted.
The bedroom joinery cleverly maximises storage whilst also concealing the walk-in laundry.

The project successfully showcases how modern design can draw on references of the past. The basin was custom designed to incorporate elements of Gothic romanticism.
