Renovated Queenslander - Part 2
An antique Chinese door serves as the dining table alongside the kitchen space.
At the side of the house you can best see the junction of old and new. Steps into the garden were inspired by batten stairs of traditional Queenslanders; "an iconic element found all through Brisbane" says Stuart.
The large, north-facing verandah is a second dining room with Accademia 'Vela' chairs from Space surrounding a Norman + Quain 'Olin' table from Living Edge.
The pool can be seen from most rooms.
