“We have a budget set aside for art,” says Karen of her bustling walls. “It’s not much, but over the years we’ve ended up with a bit of a collection.” Karen’s favourite work is of a sparrow, Portrait of Ed Brown by Michael Parekowhai.
Pattern play with stripes and complimenting colours feature in one of the bedrooms.
